North star whose flame burns crimson, white and blue
From thy proud portals light horizons new;
Shine where the children serve and vigil keep;
Kindle thy torch where hope lies fast asleep.
Steadfast forever in the blue-domed sky,
Shine forth bright star to steer a fair course by;
Lay thy beams long on land and shining sea;
To guide our Viking ship unerringly.
Homage we bring, O North, that we hold dear,
Armoured in truth fear nothing else but fear;
Hold honor dearer far than victory;
In undimmed spendor shine eternally.
